Vacation Bible School June 5-9, 2017
Our 2016 Vacation Bible School was held June 6 – 10 with the theme, “Egypt: Joseph’s Journey from Prison to Palace.” Families stepped back in time at Egypt, exploring the life of Joseph. Kids and adults participated in a memorable Bible-times marketplace, sung catchy songs, played teamwork-building games, dug into Egyptian eats, visited Joseph in prison and then in his palace home, and collected Bible Memory Makers to remind them of God’s Word. Plus, everyone learned to look for evidence of God all around them through what we called called God Sightings. Each day concluded at Celebration—a time of upbeat worship that gets everyone involved.
Last year's VBS was during the evening hours of 4:30 – 7:45 PM. Dinner was included. Kids from 3 years to 5th grade Came for fun, friendship and gaining a closer relationship with God.
A wonderful group of adults and youth come together each year to make this an incredible experience for all involved. Anyone interested in helping out with VBS in any way (teaching classes, playing games, decorating the church, handing out snacks, etc.) should contact the PUMC office at 928- 778-1950.
