Sunday School classes are available for all children and youth during the Sunday 9am service. All children are invited to stay in church with their parents until after the Children's Time. Sunday School teachers will escort your children downstairs where they can be picked up after worship.

Childcare is available during all services. Ask an usher for more information!

 3 years -1st grade:

Sarah and Phil Elliott and Marsha Leathers and Karon Keeler switch off teaching this class using Bible In Life Curriculum. Children learn to pray, share their joys and concerns and share and think of others. Lessons are age appropriate and FUN!

2nd – 5th grades:

Jeannie McCall and Toni Reynolds teach this group using Bible In Life curriculum from Cokesbury. These ladies are creative when it comes to classroom management, having fun and reaching out into the community!

All students in this class are requested to bring their bible with them every week. We normally use the Adventure Bible in the class. There are bibles in the classroom for the 2nd graders and for visitors. (If your child is in the 3rd grade or higher and never received a bible from the church, we will get them one.) This curriculum lends itself to more exploration and use of the bible on a weekly basis, and we are continuing to learn how to use our bibles.

Youth: Meet in the Deborah Classroom

Duane Gaddy leads the middle and high school youth using the LinC curriculum as a jumping off point. The lessons offer issues and topics that young people wrestle with on a daily basis. Using biblical references and discussion questions, everyone has a chance to share their opinion and learn how to respect each other. The students are also free to bring up and issue in their own lives that they need to discuss, and they are supported by the group.

Child Protection Policy - screening of all involved volunteers

We are concerned about your child's welfare.  We screen all volunteers who work with our children and youth. Contact the office if you would like more information on our Child Protetion Policies.
