With funds anchored by a private donor, and supplemented by our PUMC congregation, we have consistently met the ever-growing need. In 2015 PUMC helped 1100+ local children with shoe gift cards, Bibles, Bible Stories and more.

Classes for Children during Sunday worship services
Professional staffed child care for Infants and Toddlers during Sunday worship. Parents are encouraged to have their children join them at the beginning of each worship service. The Saturday evening and Sunday 9:00am service includes a "Children's Moment" where the children hear a special message from one of our pastors or lay leaders. Following the Children's Moment, children may either return to their parents on Saturday evenings or go to a class especially for them on Sunday morning during the 9 am worship service. There are activity books for children who would rather remain with their parents in worship, and there is a crying room equipped with a speaker adjacent to the sanctuary if adults need to remover their little ones during the service.
